Sharvari Receives an IMDb STARmeter Award
Sharvari (Munjya) receives an IMDb “Breakout Star” STARmeter Award, as determined by IMDb data on the page views of the more than 250 million monthly IMDb visitors worldwide
MUMBAI, India—August 7, 2024—IMDb (www.imdb.com), the world's most popular and authoritative source for information on movies, TV shows, and celebrities, presented an IMDb “Breakout Star“ STARmeter Award to Munjya star Sharvari. The award recognizes stars who are strong performers on the Popular Indian Celebrities list on the IMDb app. The list charts the page views of the more than 250 million monthly visitors to IMDb worldwide and has proven to be a keenly accurate predictor of stars who are about to have a breakthrough career moment.
Sharvari stars in Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy Munjya (which has an IMDb rating of 7.2/10), and makes a special appearance in Siddharth P. Malhotra’s historical drama Maharaj. After the release of the two movies within just one week of each other, she held the top position on the "Popular Indian Celebrities" list for four straight weeks. Sharvari’s earlier credits include Bunty Aur Babli 2 and The Forgotten Army - Azaadi Ke Liye. She will next be seen in Vedaa with John Abraham, and is currently shooting Alpha alongside Alia Bhatt.
