 Jitendra EV Signs MoU with MET’s Institute of Engineering to Transform Classroom Knowledge into Real-World EV Innovations

Nashik, August 12th 2025 - Jitendra New EV Tech Pvt. Ltd. (JNEVTPL), operating under the brand Jitendra Electric Vehicles, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MET’s Institute of Engineering (IOE), Bhujbal Knowledge City, Adgaon, Nashik. The collaboration, established with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, aims to foster academic-industry synergy in the rapidly evolving field of electric mobility.

The MoU was officially signed on 5th August 2025 in a ceremony held at MET’s IOE.
From the institute, the agreement was signed by Dr. V.P. Wani, Principal, MET’s IOE, in the presence of Dr. S.D. Kalpande, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Sachin Dahake, and other departmental heads.

Representing JNEVTPL, Mr. Tejas Merchant from the Research & Development (R&D) department signed the MoU, accompanied by Mr. Satish Kulkarni and Mr. Ganesh Jadhav.

This partnership is a significant step toward bridging academic learning with real-world industrial application in the electric vehicle (EV) domain. The collaboration will focus on joint initiatives in research, product development, industrial consultancy, and technical problem-solving.

Key highlights of the MoU include:

  • Expert consultancy by IOE to support productivity enhancement, resolution of in-house and field issues, and implementation of advanced engineering practices.
  • Technical support for EV-related product development, encompassing electric scooters, rickshaws, bikes, and other mobility solutions.
  • Industrial exposure for IOE students through visits, internships, and live projects, offering practical experience in electric vehicle technologies and manufacturing.
