With only a limited number of resources available for reference, the makers had a challenging time recreating a women’s prison. However, the actors along with directors Rohan Sippy and Arjun Mukerjee have lauded the design team’s work on building a set that looks exactly like a real jail, with actor Shilpa Shukla even saying that it helped her get into the skin of her character Ishani Nath.
