Kargil Vijay Diwas is commemorated nationwide to honour the sacrifices of the brave martyrs and to celebrate the unwavering determination and commitment of the Indian Armed Forces. On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Sidharth Malhotra expresses his gratitude towards the Indian Army and his experience while playing the role of Param Vir Chakra awardee Captain Vikram Batra. Taking to Twitter, Sidharth Malhotra saluted the Kargil martyrs with the following message: “Honouring the brave soldiers of our army and paying tribute to Capt. Vikram Batra on this #KargilVijayDiwas. Let us remember the courageous souls who fearlessly defended our motherland during the Kargil War. Their sacrifice and valour shall forever be etched in our hearts. Jai Hind!”
