Toyota Kirloskar Motor Conferred with EEPC India National Award for Excellence in Engineering Exports

New Delhi, 5th May 2026: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has been awarded with the “Special Trophy for Excellence in Exports of High-Technology Products: Large Enterprise” at the 57th EEPC India National Awards for Export Excellence. The honor underscores the company’s outstanding export performance during the financial year 2024–2025.

The prestigious EEPC India National Awards for Export Excellence is instituted by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) India under the aegis of the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It recognizes and celebrates exemplary contributions to India’s engineering exports sector, highlighting organizations that demonstrate innovation, global competitiveness, and sustained growth.

The 57th edition of the awards, held in New Delhi, was graced by Shri Nitin Jairam Gadkari ji, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, along with other distinguished dignitaries including Mr. Vimal Anand, Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, among senior officials and industry leaders.

TKM earned this recognition based on its export performance across relevant HS code classifications for FY 2024–2025, evaluated against industry benchmarks to identify leading exporters, along with the breadth of its high-technology product portfolio. During FY 2024–2025, the company further strengthened its export performance, reinforcing its position among leading contributors to India’s engineering exports ecosystem. This achievement reflects TKM’s continued focus on advanced manufacturing, quality excellence, and deeper integration with global supply chains.

Expressing gratitude on receiving the award, Mr. G. Shankara, Chief Strategy Officer, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “We are deeply honored to receive this recognition from EEPC India under the aegis of the Government of India. This award is a testament to our sustained commitment to the Making in India for the World vision, reinforcing India’s position as a globally competitive hub for high-technology exports. We remain dedicated to further enhancing our export capabilities while contributing meaningfully to the nation’s economic progress.”

This recognition builds on TKM’s consistent track record at the EEPC India platform, where the company has been acknowledged for its strong export performance across categories in previous years. The latest accolade further reinforces TKM’s strategic focus on expanding its export footprint and delivering high-value engineering products to global markets.
