Union Bank of India Concludes Business Plan Conference 2026 at Amritsar
Mumbai/Amritsar, April 27, 2026: Union Bank of India conducted its Business Plan Conference from April 24 to April 26, 2026, in Amritsar. The conference witnessed the participation of the Banks entire top leadership, including Managing Director & CEO Sri Asheesh Pandey, Executive Directors, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Chief General Managers (CGMs), General Managers (GMs), Zonal Heads, and Regional Heads.
The conference served as a strategic platform for the Banks leadership team to have in-depth deliberations on business priorities and actionable strategies aimed at achieving the Banks ambitious growth targets in the current financial year. Key focus areas included strengthening Current and Savings Account (CASA) growth, expanding Retail and Agricultural lending, improving Asset Quality, and driving Digital Transformation, all anchored in a strong framework of Compliance and Governance discipline.
Addressing the gathering, the MD & CEO emphasized the importance of balancing robust business growth with unwavering adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. The leadership team reaffirmed its collective commitment to sustainable and responsible banking practices while ensuring highest quality of services to customers.
As part of its commitment to social responsibility and community welfare, the Bank also contributed three e-carts to the Border Security Force at the Wagah Border. These e-carts are intended to support the mobility and convenience of senior citizens and visitors at the border, reflecting the Banks dedication to inclusive service and nation-building initiatives.
