The Watchdog Foundaton the issue of potholes Mumbai.

We on behalf of Mumbaikars are fed up with the issue of potholes all over Mumbai and as such have decided to celebrate the forthcoming Navratri Festival by painting the potholes as per Navratri 2022 Colours Guide , which for first day of the festival happens to be September 26 , 2022 ( Day 1- White Colour ) and for the second Day of the festival happens to be September 27 , 2022 ( Day 2- Red Colour ) and so on and so forth . We would be urging all the Mumbaikars to celebrate the festival in the above manner to highlight the plight of Mumbaikars . During 9 days Navratri , many persons would be fasting and walk bare feet . As such the potholed roads would cause unnecessary injuries to them . We would also urge the Mumbaikars to take photographs of the coloured potholes on daily basis for 9 days and tweet on the official Tweeter handle of " My BMC " of the Corporation and also other social media platforms . We need permanent solution to this public menace , which is costing the tax payers hundreds of crores recurring expenses every year . That apart causing wastage of fuel traffic jams , loss of lives etc,
