Mumbai: After a successful career in the construction business and social sector, Usha Kakade has made her debut in the field of film production. The amazing logo of their 'Usha Kakade Productions' was unveiled by famous producer-director Karan Johar and fashion designer Manish Malhotra. Their first Marathi film 'Vicky: The Full of Love' produced by Usha Kakade Production was announced by clapping their hands.

Raj Thackeray's wife Sharmila Thackeray, actresses Isha Koppikar, Sonali Kulkarni, Rinku Rajguru, Smita Gondkar, Tanisha Mukherjee, Gauhar Khan, choreographer Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, entrepreneur Sanjay Kakade, producer Usha Kakade, were present at the star-studded event held at Taj Lands End in Mumbai on Monday. Vicky' director Tejpal Wagh, actor Hemal Ingle and actors Sumedh Mudgalkar, Ashok Pandit were present among the stalwarts of Hindi-Marathi film industry.

Usha Kakade, who has been successfully working in the construction field for the past 18 years, is also the founder of Gravits Foundation. So far 5 lakh children have been given knowledge of safe and unsafe touch through the foundation. Also, free dental check-up of 80 thousand children, eye check-up and surgery of 1 lakh 10 thousand children have been done so far through the foundation. It has partnered with UNICEF for activities in the education and health sectors.
