Earth, Wind And Fire In An Evening To Remember

As a prelude to the big race day, Tata Mumbai Marathon hosted a glam evening party 'Earth, Wind & Fire' at Trident, Nariman Point, the hospitality partner of the event. It started with an exciting chat session about the impact that the event has on the host city. Hosted by journalist and author Rajdeep Sardesai, business stalwarts Harish Bhat, Brand Custodian at Tata Sons, V. Vaidyanathan, Managing Director of IDFC First Bank, Parth Jindal, Managing Director of JSW Cement and Gautam Singhania, the Chairman and Managing Director of the Raymond Group spoke about the legacy of the event and the impact that big corporate companies have in the field of sports.

Sardesai also had a brief chat with Chief National Coach for the India badminton team, Pullela Gopichand and Tata Mumbai Marathon International Event Ambassador Yohan Blake. Following the chat session was a fashion show, choreographed by Aparna Bedi which was hosted by ace couturier Tarun Tahiliani who showcased his latest haute couture assemblage while Asics, Sports Goods Partner of the event revealed their athleisure collection. The red carpet was graced by the who's who of Bollywood, which included Rahul Bose, Milind Soman accompanied by his wife Ankita Konwar, fashion designer Shaina NC, Boogie Woogie fame Jaaved Jaffrey, Naved Jaffrey, among others. Drawing the curtains to this beautiful evening, was Yohan Blake gracing the ramp as the showstopper.
