Online International film fest successfully organized Indian artists felicitated from international dias

Due to to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the award show was streamed through YouTube, the international community of artists too enjoyed the festival online.

31st Aug 2020: In the changing scenario, India is claiming it's strong presentation through new innovations before the world. During the Corona crisis, a youth from Indore, Mr. Rishi Nikam, successfully convened International Film Festival 'KALAKARI FILM FESTIVAL'. It was a two days program held on 28th and 29th Aug 2020. While on one hand due to Corona crisis even the International communities cancelling their programs, on the other hand to provide proper  encouragement to the short films, documentary films and to showcase Indian films and movie makers on international platform, Mr. Rishi Nikam came forward to organize online film festival. 'KALAKARI' fest is totally a non- profiteering institution.

Mr. Rishi Nikam, the organizer of KALAKARI FILM FEST stated that- in this online international film fest India's nomination was for more than 300 films. All the film directors/ producers presented with free gifts, hampers and t-shirts. With India, countries like UK, US, ITALY, GERMANY, BRAZIL, FRANCE, SPAIN, AUSTRALIA, SINGAPORE, SWITZERLAND, etc submitted nomination for more than 900 films.

Mr. Rishi further mentioned-'India has artist like one more talented then the others who need an effective platform showcasing their performance. Corona has introduced lot of changes in our lives but it could not stop the creative thinking of an artist. The ultimate aim of this film fest is to encourage Indian artists for International standards.'

The winner of Best Fiction Award was- Death offers life-last moments of Vincent van Gogh, SAHIR ABBAS MADHU R, India, best thriller- Baby in the Basement, best actor- Praveen Shinde for Chase between life and dreams, best photography- Aditya Itoriya Indic and Sabhi Vipul Parikh, best director's award was given to Ashes. Other than these, awards were given in following categories also- best short film of the fest, best horror, best story, best documentary, best cinematography. Online award ceremony was held on 28th and 29th Aug 2020. This program was streamed on YouTube.

Mr. Rishi Nikam, is known for his short films and as a blogger. His work of art has given international publicity to India, specially Madhya Pradesh and Indore. Rishi's work is also published and highlighted in various magazines and articles. He is of the strong opinion of that any crisis can not stop the creativity of an artist, therefore he has organized this film festival on digital platform, so that Indian film directors and producers may get and encouragement.
