Freedom From Diabetes Organizes Morning Trek For Diabetics At Bedse Caves

Sun Gazing & Soul-Mind-Body Healing Sessions Held At The Stupa

Mumbai, April 07: India’s leading organisation specializing in Diabetes Reversal - Freedom from Diabetes (FFD) organized a trek for diabetics at the famous Bedse Caves in Pune. An easy hike covering around 400 steps, the trek also covered rejuvenating activities including sun-gazing and soul-mind-body healing sessions by Dr Pramod Tripathi, founder of FFD. The fun Sunday morning activity was part of FFD’s initiative to inculcate healthy habits and lifestyle reorientation practices amongst diabetics. The two-hour activity started at 6:15 am and ended at 8:15 am on 27th March, 2022.

“Whether diabetic or otherwise, the objective for every human being should be to attain a healthy mind and body. Once we start working towards this, we can achieve anything, including reversing diabetes. Sun-gazing, when the sun is peeking through the horizon, is a healthy practice. It nourishes the body with Vitamin D and stimulates the brain. It has also been found to have an effect on metabolic and thyroid functions and in helping reduce body weight. Trekking or sun-gazing are just a couple of the several health-enhancing choices and we implore everyone and not just diabetics, to embrace such lifestyle choices that will benefit health in the long term,” says Dr Pramod Tripathi, Founder, FFD.

Dr Pramod Tripathi is a pioneer of diabetes reversal in India. Since 2013, through his FFD initiative, he has helped over 12,000 diabetics free themselves from dependency on either insulin or medicines or both. He is currently on a mission to free 100,000 diabetics by 2025.
