Meet the power-packed ensemble cast in producer Anand Pandit's 'Chehre'
August 20th 2021, Mumbai: Movie lovers are waiting with bated breath for the release of Producer Anand Pandit’s mystery thriller Chehre. The film has been continuing to garner immense love from fans with all the posters, teaser and hard-hitting dialogue promos that have been released till date. 'Chehre' is a mystery thriller edge of the seat drama packed with suspense revolving around the characters playing the game of justice. The movie features megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi pitted against each other for the first time. Chehre is directed by Rumy Jafry and narrates a story of polarised individuals fighting for justice against one crime. In the film, the audience will experience the 'verbal conflict' between Amitabh and Emraan.
Chehre will see the legendary Amitabh Bachchan as Lateef Zaidi, a strong willed and unforgiving retired prosecutor and Emraan Hashmi as Sameer Mehra, an Ad agency chief, the movie also stars talented names such as Annu Kapoor as Haridev Singh Sahani a retired public defender, Dhritiman Chatterjee as Jagdish Mathur as a retired judge of the criminal court, Raghubir Yadav as Banney Miyan as a retired executioner and Siddharth Kapoor as Raghu with a violent mysterious look beaming in his eyes. The movie also features talented actress Krystle D'souza as Nina Oberoi who portrays herself as a quintessential damsel in distress and Rhea Chakraborty as Shivani, in pivotal roles.
Taking about the versatile actors in the movie Producer Anand Pandit said, "The remarkable thing about this movie for me is the exceptionally proclaimed star cast, we started with Mr Amitabh Bachchan on board followed by other supremely talented actors and with Rumy Jafry helming this mystery thriller it's indeed one of its kind extraordinary cinematic experience for the viewers."
Talking about directing talented actors, Director Rumy Jafry said, "The most exciting part on the set while shooting was the amazing talented ensemble cast, Amitabh Bachchan, Annu Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi, Raghubir Yadav, Dhritiman Chatterjee and Siddhanth Kapoor so the experience was unique, positive and filled with learning. Every actor used to compliment each other, each one of them is excellent! There were always some learnings from the supremely talented actors on the set. Even the conversation on the set off shoot would be around creativity, poetry, paintings, all enjoyed and had good conversations throughout the shoot schedule"
Produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures & Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited, directed by Rumy Jafry, “Chehre” also stars Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhanth Kapoor and Rhea Chakraborty. The film is now all set to release in the cinema houses on 27th August 2021.
