Mumbai, 10 October, 2023: Thakur Global Business School, (TGBS) Kandivali, Mumbai, successfully organised a Finance Conclave on ‘Digital Re-Imagination of Finance: Crafting the Blueprint for the New Frontier’ on October 7th 2023. It brought together a diverse audience of students and professionals eager to delve into the ever-evolving world of finance. The event became a vibrant hub for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and innovation. Notably, the Finance Conclave saw an overwhelming response from more than 600 students from 30+ Mumbai colleges representing various educational streams.

The Finance Conclave featured two eminent keynote speakers:
Mr. Sourabh Tomar, Head of UPI & IMPS Product at the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), shared his perspective, saying, "In a rapidly evolving financial landscape, collaboration and knowledge sharing are pivotal. This conclave serves as an excellent platform to exchange ideas, explore trends, and discuss the future of digital payments in India."
Mr. Nishant Agarwal, Head of Digital Business at Kotak Securities Limited, added, "The fusion of finance and technology is reshaping the investment landscape. It's inspiring to see young minds from various backgrounds coming together to discuss the digital revolution in finance."
The Finance Conclave also witnessed a panel discussion on the conference theme. The panel comprised of Mr. Gaurang Chandarana, Independent Consultant and Ex-Head of Operations at ESGRisk.ai, Mr. Shravan Prabhu, MD of Technology Risk at Protiviti , Mr. Prasad Deore, Senior Director at the Data Security Council of India (DSCI), and Mr. Deepak Kothari, Co-Founder of ftcash, along with moderator Mr. Abhinava Chandra, Vice President Credit at Shapoorji Pallonji Finance Private Limited wherein the Rise of UPI was discussed in addition to the revolution of Digitalization not only in the Financial Services Sector but also in the other Industries and also how blockchain technology has introduced an added layer of trust and transparency in the transactions The conclave thus featured a series of interactive sessions and panel discussion, covering a wide range of topics such as fintech, digital payments, investment strategies, and risk management.
